Although we're an international limited company, our office and distilleries are still local businesses. We're proud to support interests and causes within our local area.
Our charity work includes giving to named charities, fundraising and volunteering. We support registered charities or organisations with charitable objectives who share our ideals and support our local communities.
Environment
We're constantly working to improve our environmental performance and protect the communities in which we operate by reducing our impact on the environment.
Through commitment to our trade association's climate change agreement (Life Cycle Analysis) and our Energy Policy, we're is actively engaged in a wide range of environmental activities.
By 2020 Morrison Bowmore Distilers promises to:
Ensure that 20% of our primary energy requirements will be derived from non-fossil fuel sources.
Reduce by 10% the average unit weight of our product packaging materials.
Ensure that that 40% of our product packaging will be made from recycled materials.
Ensure that all product packaging will be reusable or recyclable.
